sweet little puppers

jason and i decided to foster a puppy for the grateful goldens. her and her 8 brothers and sisters were rescued from a backyard breeder. they were all malnourished and in bad condition. we picked her up on sunday and she had no hair, with the exception of a few really long hairs on her neck. but, her personality is huge and she is definitely a fighter. all she needed is a little love. she is doing so great and has little peach fuzz...you can actually pet her. she is still small for her age (she is 14 weeks, but about the size of a 9 week old pup). but, with the love she is getting and the companionship of Oz she is doing GREAT! now we are in a big predicament...do we continue to foster or do we adopt?

shedding the mane

I finally did it! Today I shed the mane. The initial incentive to shed it was to donate my hair to kids for wigs. However, they don't take "color treated" hair. I have been talking about chopping it for forever and I am excited to finally go through with it!

bele chere 2008

I know this is a little delayed...August. But, I am just learning this whole blog thing. I will try to keep things updated with all that is going on in our lives. The pics below are from Bele Chere in Asheville. Jason, Mandy and Jay were lovin' the chicken on a stick! Ok...Jason was the only one really eating it...gross!
